Shabby Chic Bird Moblies.

I have taken a little rest from needle felting, a little time to let the creative spirits sprout again.
But, that’s not to say that I’ve been able to take rest from making stuff… oh no, the crafting gift has taken root within my soul and, alas, I am not able to go very long without making something!
These are what I’ve been working on for my Etsy shop… shabby chic, vintage, French Country mobiles. Little birds perched on blossom branches.
Here is ‘Cherry Blossom’.

This one is called ‘Sugared Almonds’ as it has a little nest with three sugared-almond colored eggs in it.

The eggs have been made by wet felting wool.

This one is called ‘Love Birds’. It has two little Lovebirds perched in a heart.

They all have paper roses and glass beads strung prettily for that romantic, whimsical effect.

Of course, both my children have demanded their own. This is T’s ‘boyish’ one… it is reds, blues and browns.

So, all in all, it’s been a very ‘birdie’ week!
For a ‘simply enchanting’ post from today, look here.
Blessings and magic.
