52 Weeks in Nature : Week 9

Fifty Two weeks in nature… a series of photos each week to show what our nature looks like. For those who are participating, thank you… it’s been amazing to see how different the seasons are from place to place… and how beautiful.

Week 9/52

We’ve had beautiful, long, soaking rain here in Southern California. It’s a BIG deal because we haven’t had rain like this for over a year and a half! I hope this ends the drought that has held us in her strong, dusty grip for far too long.

Everything looks clean and new…

  1. Love all of your macro shots!!! What type of camera do you use? I wish I could afford to upgrade mine right now, but it’s not happening for at least a year. My photo of the week is of a crocus in my yard in front of some red moss (I think it’s moss anyway….).

    1. Thanks Maureen… I have an Olympus camera. I was *really* lucky because I found it second-hand at my local camera shop one day. It’s a dream.
