Fifty Two weeks in nature… a series of photos each week to show what our nature looks like. For those who are participating, thank you… it’s been amazing to see how different the seasons are from place to place… and how beautiful.
Week 12 / 52
I spent last weekend on my own at a retreat in the San Bernadino mountains. Oh, what a treat and a joy it was to be there. The mountains are so very beautiful.
The mountains are still in the early breath of Spring… most of the trees are bare but the blossoms have burst in all their radiance and the grass is emerald green.
My soul is refreshed.
I hope you’ll participate in 52 Weeks in Nature and leave a link to your site in the comments below so that we can all see the beauty you have found.

What lovely scenery! How fun to go on a retreat on by yourself! I haven’t been anywhere by myself in 15 years! I have a hyacinth to share this week – http://www.bluebellsandcockleshells.com/2014/03/52-weeks-in-nature-week-12-hyacinth.html
Such lovely pictures of an inspiring place! I enjoy seeing Spring emerging in the pictures and words of my northern friends while here we are in Autumn.
It’s such a treat to get a message from you, Sarah. I’ve been paging through your beautiful site and it feels like returning home. So beautiful, as always.
These pictures have a lovely calm quality to them. A retreat sounds like a wonderful thing to do. Here is my week 12 .. http://sibylnutmeg.co.uk/week-12-52-weeks-nature/
So beautiful where you are, Sibyl!
San Benardino? I believe I have family not so far from you. For a change I have only one photo to share – but that one photo brought me so much joy! http://ninnynoodlenoo.com/52-weeks-of-nature-week-12/
