First Prize : Daphne the Spring Fairy from Lavender and Lark

Isn’t she magnificent?!
Daphne is a one of a kind Spring fairy, lovingly hand stitched out of natural fibers; wool felts, silk, antique linen and lace. She comes with the first thaw to waken the garden from it’s long winter sleep and welcome back the bees and ladybugs. Her job is a big one. Last year’s seeds are waiting dormant in their cool earthen bed for a faerie’s sweet song to send the first tender shoots spiraling skyward. At the end of a long day’s work you will almost always find her sitting beneath a toadstool lost in her favorite book.
She stands 7.5 inches tall, it’s intended for gentle play or to lend her magic to a Spring nature table. Daphne’s body is wire framed and is fully adjustable. She is valued at $150.
