I have some beautiful places to share with you today.
Look what I found… utterly enchanting calendars for children. The illustrations are too wonderful for words. I LOVE the circular concept of this calendar. The year is circular, isn’t it… Winter leads to Spring that leads to Summer, to Autumn and back to Winter. Of course, it’s circular. How strange it must seem to a child to see the year in a grid form.
I’ve also been ‘eye-candying’ it though this blog. I can’t understand a word of it but the dreamy photos speak volumes. It has a wonderfully exotic feeling and makes me feel, for a moment or two, that I’m on vacation and on an adventure. The photos are like still life art.
A little while ago, I shared about how we are doing our kids a disservice by dreading the ‘bored’ word. About how we are keeping something really amazing FROM them if we ‘fix’ their boredom instead of letting it run it’s magical course. Boredom can be a beautiful thing.
And here’s a favorite poem I’ve memorized.
Thanks for being here today. If you visit these beautiful spaces I have shared, please let them know that you have enjoyed their magic.
Blessings and magic,
Donni

A lovely mix of “finds” and thoughts. I’m never disappointed when I pop over to your blog.
