My gosh, what an affront! They made them ‘all dirty!’
She washed her ‘fine china’ until it sparkled, plunging her hands into the fluffy water.
She worked diligently, making sure not a speck of dirt remained.
Then she rinsed her crockery and put each piece carefully on the rack to dry.
I smiled to myself as I watched her work and marveled at how much she has to teach me… it was the way she threw herself, body and soul, joyfully, into her work. When similar mishaps happen to me, I begrudge the extra work that has been caused. I cuss and stamp my foot and do what has to be done with a scowl on my face. Here was this little girl, working joyfully. What time I have wasted with that scowl on my face when I could have been working joyfully instead! Not to say that I will always be cleaning up spilt milk with a smile on my face… just that I know I could be.

I wonder that sometimes, too.
Why am I in a grump???… I love this.
I love making it clean, using my cleaners, smelling the goodness, and seeing it shine.
:/
It’s the time thing, for me. Too much in a hurry, most times.
Beautiful post!
I just voted!!! Oh my goodness…I think your lovely creation is now #1…at least it was just a moment ago. Good luck to you – you deserve it.
And wonderful, wonderful lessons your daughter is learning about having fine things. :)
What a sweet post. I voted for Pumpkin Mouse a couple days ago … hope he wins!
Pumpkin mouse officially has my vote!
I hope his fan base pulls through for him!
Beautiful little fine things! Hoping they won’t see that much dirt again, but knowing that if they do, they have a happy little washer ready to shine them up again!
I posted you on my facebook page. Maybe you will get a few more votes out of it! :)
Oh… I just voted for little pumpkin mouse. I hope he wins. He honestly was my favorite!
How sweet and what a good mama you are!!!
You tell Pumpkin Mouse that it doesn’t matter whether he wins or loses…he is still precious!
