I recently re-read my very first blog post. It was written on New Year’s Day 2009. It was written to my extended family. Re-reading it brought tears to my eyes… I needed this space with all my heart. I am so proud of that girl back then who was brave enough to let go of something she had been clinging to all her married life in order embrace a gift that was waiting for her to accept… the gift of the now, the here, the us. What a huge difference that gift has made in our lives and I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

Here is a link to that first post.

Thank you to all of you who have shared this space with me. I had a small inkling back then of how powerful this sharing would be for me but I had no idea of the magnitude of the good we could all bring to each others lives. I have not felt ‘alone’ for a very long time.

Happy New Year to all of you. May 2012 be filled with love, laughter and lots of magic!
