Here is an easy DIY tutorial to help you make a fairy-sized succulent pot plant in a thimble for your Fairy Garden.

Materials Needed :
- a thimble (from your local craft or sewing store… try to get one with a flat base so that your fairy pot plant will stand easily).
- a small cutting from a succulent plant.
- a tiny thimble-full of soil.
Method :
Fill your thimble with soil and water so that the soil is nice and damp.

Succulents do wonderfully from cuttings. Break off a small piece of your succulent plant.

Snip off the bottom layers of succulent leaves, leaving a quarter-inch stalk.

Plant this little cutting into the thimble by gently pushing the stalk you have just created deep into the soil. Voila!! A pretty little pot plant, perfect for your Fairy Garden.

cute. I have some chicks, might have to plant one. I made a fairy front porch urn last week in my garden with a small miniature fern, did you see that? http://www.avintagefairy.com/2012/06/fairies-new-front-door-planter.html
This kills me, it’s just so adorable! : )
