Materials Needed :

  • a thimble (from your local craft or sewing store… try to get one with a flat base so that your fairy pot plant will stand easily).
  • a small cutting from a succulent plant.
  • a tiny thimble-full of soil.

Method :

Fill your thimble with soil and water so that the soil is nice and damp.

Succulents do wonderfully from cuttings. Break off a small piece of your succulent plant.

Snip off the bottom layers of succulent leaves, leaving a quarter-inch stalk.

Plant this little cutting into the thimble by gently pushing the stalk you have just created deep into the soil. Voila!! A pretty little pot plant, perfect for your Fairy Garden.
