My shop FAIRYFOLK is in her full Autumn regalia.
Quite the most exciting thing for me is hearing the UPS truck stopping outside The Sunny House… gasp! New wool!!! I dash down the stairs and fling open the door and behold… 3 HUGE boxes of beautiful, soft, colorful wool. Inspiration tingles in my fingers and I rip open the packets and start at once.
Autumn Fairies on the menu today, with soft woolly bodies and colorful curly hair.
Soft felted faces and warm acorn hats.
These two little redheads are sure to be full of mischief!
My children might be the luckiest two in the world… they get to keep the first of everything I make. I have tired of saying “NO!” to their pleas of “Please can I have…”. Now I say “Yes” and they whisk their new little friends off to play in Fairyland.
But these little guys line up in the studio, waiting for their turn to start the journey to their new homes.
Do you need an Autumn Fairy? They are waiting in my shop FAIRYFOLK for you in the ‘Waldorf TOYS and SILKS’ section. If you are looking for fun Halloween and Autumn decorating ideas, have a peek in my ‘FALL‘ section too.

Thank you, April :-)
So lovely! I can relate to the way you feel when new supplies come in. It’s like Christmas!
I know, Becca… it’s always SO exciting to see the new colors in real life!!

These are so adorable! I’ve got to get over my fear of needle felting and give it a try. Will definitely check out your shop~ those would make great stocking stuffers!
I have learned to say “yes” to my kids more too. I realized how frustrating it is for them to see me make things they like and to keep hearing that they’re for other people. Now my kids come first and there’s plenty of handmade pretties to go around!
Beautiful! What a gorgeous range of colors—can I ask where the wool is from?
