Kitty was the one who spotted this wonderful apothecary jar at a recent garage sale. We snapped it up and Kitty has had big winter wonderland plans for it every since.
Here is our Winter Wonderland terrarium. It adds magic to our snow-less Southern Californian Christmas.
Teddy and Kitty assembled all the little goodies they thought our winter wonderland needed. (if this photo looks to you like a bit of a ‘this is MINE’ photo, you wouldn’t be wrong. It took great negotiation skills on both of their parts to divvy up the loot fairly between them… funny to me as it all went into the same jar! Ha, ha.)
Teddy poured the Epsom Salts snow into the jar.
Together, they settled the little winter treasures into the snow… and played in the snow for a while.
Our Winter Wonderland sits on our dinner table and our dinner conversations revolve around ice and winter and all the fun things we think our friends who live in snowy places are doing.
Blessings and magic,
Donni

Wow, that is just beautiful!
Funny, I posted almost the exact same thing on my blog before Christmas too! You can check it out here (http://www.ginghamcherry.blogspot.com/2012/12/merry-christmas.html). I had to come look at yours after seeing it on One Pretty Thing. I love your little trees, where did you get them? I looked everywhere for them this year and only found a couple.
I’m just loving all of your ideas! I’m looking forward to doing this one too! .. and I already have the jars ready to go!
