We had another glorious weekend camping.
Each trip yields new adventures, new discoveries and new creations; like the wonderful Leaf Fairy Teddy and I made.
I’m a collector. I can’t seem to go on a walk without bringing back some sort of treasure I’ve come across along the way. My children are the same. We collect the most beautiful things.
Of course, these collected treasures can be turned into something even more magical! All that’s needed is my trusted glue gun. Teddy and I found a wonderful round pebble for our fairies belly. He chose two beautiful white fall leaves for her wings. We tied a piece of hemp string into arms and hands. We added her acorn head and a little leaf feather. We finished her with a pretty pink leaf skirt.
We left her flying in the breeze from a tree branch and when the wind twirled her around, to our delight, we discovered that she was pregnant!! How exciting to come across a woodland fairy with a child in her belly!
Isn’t she magnificent!
So, next time you go camping, be sure to remember your hot glue gun and let your imaginations run wild with the treasures Nature gives you.
Blessings and magic,
Donni
