52 Weeks in Nature : 1/52

Welcome to a beautiful new year.

I am starting a meme called 52 Weeks in Nature. Each week I will feature a photo, or a series of photos, that showcase what is happening in nature around us… something that we have found particularly enchanting. At the end of the year, we will have 52 weeks of seasonal beauty.

I’m particularly excited for this project for two reasons.  One, it goes hand in hand with my resolution to be mindful of all the tiny little things that make nature so magical. I want to ensure we explore the beauty of nature each and every week. Two, I am fascinated at how different the same season is from place to place and I hope you’ll join me in this weekly meme so that we can see the amazing things that Mother Nature is doing in your area.

(ok, also, I got a new camera for Christmas)

If you participate, please leave a link to your site in the comments below so that we can all see your beauty in nature.

Week 1/52

January 3rd : Winter : Southern California

The mornings are magically misty. The grass is often covered with dewy jewels that sparkle in the sunshine and fairies flutter everywhere.

    1. Welcome, Stephanie. So excited to have you join me with 52 Weeks in Nature. Wow… your winter wonderland is so beautiful!! All that fresh snow. It’s amazing to me that we live in the same country and my winter is warm and sunny and yours gives you a blanket of beautiful whiteness.
I hope you come back and link your Friday posts every week so that I can see what’s happening on your side of the country.
