52 Weeks in Nature.
Each week I feature a photo, or a series of photos, that showcase what is happening in nature around us… something that we have found particularly enchanting. At the end of the year, we will have 52 weeks of seasonal beauty.
I’m excited for this project for two reasons.
One, it goes hand in hand with my resolution to be mindful of all the tiny little things that make nature so magical. I want to ensure we explore the beauty of nature each and every week.
Two, I am fascinated at how different the same season is from place to place and I hope you’ll join me in this weekly meme so that we can see the amazing things that Mother Nature is doing in your area.
If you participate, please leave a link to your site in the comments below so that we can all see your beauty in nature.
Week 2/52
Playing with the sun… yes, this is what January looks like in Southern California.
I hope you join me in recording 52 Weeks in Nature.
Blessings and magic,
Donni

It looks so warm and inviting there! Quite a stark difference to the temperature and wind chill here in frigid Minnesota! Here’s a photo I took earlier this week of the snow-covered ground: http://harvestmoonbyhand.blogspot.com/2014/01/sparkly-snow-p52-photo-challenge-week-2.html
Lovely, Ann… I can see the snow sparkling. Fresh snow is so wonderfully clean.
Love Donni
Very cold here in Maine. Your photos have me “California Dreaming”. :-)
I have had some backyard visitors this week. http://www.agratefultraveler.blogspot.com

Wow… lucky you, Stephanie… two foxes!!
Cold but Sunny here in Norfolk, UK. We have had quite a bit of rain as well but I chose to capture the sunny moments. Love your pictures Donni, California seems so exotic from here. My post is http://sibylnutmeg.co.uk/week-2-52-weeks-nature/
Love your wintery photos, Sibyl… especially the shot of the sunlight coming through the trees.
How beautiful. We have snow.
It looks like you’re having lovely weather. I dodged outside in the rain long enough to document our wet and gray weather. http://www.bluebellsandcockleshells.com/2014/01/52-weeks-in-nature-252-wet-and-gray.html
Lovely, Maureen!

It is breathtaking the difference in our landscapes right now! I love seeing this as much as the misty snow here. Love this series!
Thanks, Brooke. It’s so lovely and warm here… we can hardly believe it :-)
