As promised, here are photos of our new Fairy Garden. It is made in the hollowed out stump of our old plum tree (who sadly died this winter). We love our Fairy Garden all the more, knowing that our beloved plum tree’s spirit lives on inside her. We have called this garden our Gnome Home. Baby BunBuns loves it too!

The kids have had so much fun adding all the little treasures they have collected over the year. Together, we made a wonderfully colorful felt ball garland, Teddy added his precious crystal and Kitty thought of using the steel bolt (foraged from Dad’s toolbox) for the chimney. A little white ladder leads up to the mossy lawn roof. The gnomes have a broom for sweeping, a shovel for digging and even a sack of flour for baking bread.

I’ll share some more delightful details tomorrow and I’ll be announcing the BEYOND AWESOME prizes soon.

I hope you are planning to make a Fairy Garden with your own little ones this season. Please enter it into our Annual 2014 Fairy Garden Contest.
