52 Weeks In Nature : Week 26/27 - The Magic Onions

52 Weeks In Nature : Week 26/27

We are well into our Summer vacation and are loving these slow, sunny days.

We go for a nature walk every day.

Often, it’s around the Lagoon which is a 5 minute walk from The Sunny House.

The Lagoon is a wetland nature reserve and there are always so many treasures to be found.

Moose LOVES his Lagoon walk!

Teddy takes along his bow and arrow. He made them in a Native Skills Summer Camp in the first week of his vacation. The bow is made from a palm frond and the arrow from a long straight mule fat branch and feathers he picked up. It’s his favorite creation.

The Magic Onions

Teddy found a bird skull.

The Magic Onions

Kitty found a discarded egg, which was a little bit smelly, but too cool not to love anyway.

I wonder what treasures we’ll find on our walk today?

Fifty Two weeks in nature is a series of photos each week to show what our nature looks like. For those who are participating, thank you… it’s been amazing to see how different the seasons are from place to place… and how beautiful.

I hope you’ll participate in 52 Weeks in Nature and leave a link to your site in the comments below so that we can all see the beauty you have found. Please don’t feel you need to participate each and every week… when you can is more than enough.
