Our last month of summer is going by so fast.  We’ve been letting the days languish, enjoying little chores around the house, getting to those things we’ve been meaning to get to.

Kitty spent a day ‘mending’ her horses. She has collected quite a few over the years. We call it her ‘garage sale luck’ as she seems to stumble upon beautiful horses at neighborhood sales. They all have beautiful names, like Madam Butterfly and Excalibur. They had become a little too scuffed and she spent some time painting them beautiful again. Some even received new coats as she spray painted them in the back yard.

Teddy has been enjoying making wishes… there are wishes all over our lawn!

And I have loved my apricot rose. Isn’t it pretty!

I employed Kitty to draw a knitting tutorial for me. It’s a step-by-step tutorial of the cat Teddy knitted. It was a $5 well spent. You can see the Tutorial of Teddy’s Knitted Cat – it’s a wonderful craft project for kids.
