I love love love having fresh cut flowers in the Sunny House. What could be more beautiful than a vase of blooms in every room?
So, when I was asked if I wanted to take part in a flower delivery collective, to display flowers in my home, of course I said yes!
I don’t have any fresh flowers growing in the garden at the moment so I decided to shop for flowers at my local farmer’s market. I find that farmer’s markets are the most economical places to buy flowers. And I am always assured of something fun and interesting.
This week I found two bunches of the most delightful pink and coral ranunculus, two bunches of snapdragons, a bunch of confetti bush greenery and some sweet tansy buttons… all for only $20.
My challenge was to create a vase for each room from my $20 bounty and it wasn’t difficult at all.
I have collected interesting bottles for vases over the years and I love to make pretty posies for each bottle.
Something about arranging flowers makes my heat sing. The beauty, the creativity, the smell. It’s magic!
Here’s the posy in the living room. Isn’t it pretty with apricot ranunculus and yellow tansys.
On the Piano… pink ranunculus with confetti bush greens.
In Kitty’s room.
And next to our bed…
Look how the morning sun threw rainbows onto the wall as the sun rose this morning.
The Sunny House looks SO beautiful!
Thanks BloomNation for inspiring me to bring these beauties inside.
I’d love to see photos of the flowers in your home.
Blessings and magic,
Donni
