Dear Readers,
Have you visited my sponsor column on the left side of the page? If you haven’t yet, please do. These are all wonderful small businesses, working hard to bring beauty and authenticity into our lives. Everything they offer will be wonderful gifts from Santa.
Today, I want to share a new sponsor, Home Art Studio, run by mom-of-two, Ms Volin.
I asked her to tell us a little about herself and the service she offers :
“Growing up I was the always the kid who loved art. My elementary school didn’t offer art as a special, so my parents sent me to art camps and bought me dozens of how to books about books about famous artists. When I went to college I knew that I wanted to be a teacher and I wanted to teach art. I have taught in public and private schools and loved every minute.
I’m a mom and a teacher so I know kids and I know how to get kids excited about being creative.
A few years ago I had the unique experience to create and film art education DVDs for kids to use at home. They were originally designed for homeschooling families, but they are perfect for kids who were like me- Art lovers! I made it as easy as possible. All a parent needs to do is set out the art supplies and the child follows along with me step by step on the DVD.
I’m proud of the many awards my program has won including Mom’s Best Award for outstanding new product of 2013. I hope that you will try Home Art Studio with your family.”
Here is a sample video for you to share with your kids. I have a feeling they’ll love the lesson so much that they’ll be asking Santa for the whole series.
For other free videos, please visit Home Art Studio.
Thank you for sharing your art teachings with us, Ms Volin. Those sunflowers are wonderful.
Dear Readers, if your kids follow this video and make gorgeous sunflowers, please share them with us by sending me a photo… I’ll send it on to Ms Volin and I know it will make her day.
Blessings and magic,
Donni
