We love these rustic butterfly ornaments. They make our Christmas tree look so wonderfully whimsical.
Here’s a DIY tutorial for you to make some for your tree too.
Materials :
- natural vine balls (found in craft stores)
- feather butterflies (found in craft stores)
- hemp string (found in craft stores)
- a hot glue gun
Method :
Simply put a little glue onto the underside of the feather butterfly and stick it to the vine ball.
It’s best to space the feather butterflies randomly on the ball so they look like real butterflies have alighted upon it by chance.
We made some with only three butterflies on them and others covered in butterflies. Both look wonderfully enchanting.
If you LOVE these ornaments but are not the crafting type, you can purchase similar ornaments in The Magic Onions Shop… in the Christmas Ornament section.
Click here if you want to know how to make the sweet felt flower ornaments you can see in the photos too.
