Your little boy is so cute. I always did crafts with my kids when they were little and I do crafts with my grandkids whenever I can. I think it is what memories are made of. They won’t remember what you buy them for Chrfistmas but they will remember what they made for someone else. My Christmas tree doesn’t have anything store bought on it ,it’s all things my kids and there kids have made for me. My daughter-in-law asked me last year what I wanted for Christmas and I told her I didn’t want anything from a store,I can go out and get it myself. I told her I wanted something her and the kids made for me. They all sat around and came up with a great gift,a jar of 352 little strips of paper. On each is written one thing they liked about me. So when she asked me again this year,I told her to come up with another wonderful idea. So I can’t wait to see what they can do to top last year,I’ll let you know.
HI Catherine… wow… what a wonderful gift they gave you. I LOVE the idea. You are right – handmade means that so much thought has gone into it… and love.
Thanks for sharing.
