We have the most delightful garland hanging on our mantle. We call it the SUGARPLUM garland and it gives our living room a perfectly fabulous holiday vibe.
It’s super-easy to make too… pine cones, white paint and colorful felt balls.
Lucky you… I’m sharing our DIY tutorial so that you can make this cute sugarplum pine cone Christmas garland too.
Here’s what you’ll need
Materials :
- mini pine cones (picked up from nature or purchased here).
- colorful felt balls (find them here).
- white paint
- floral wire
- hemp string
- paint brush
Method :
Step 1
Give each mini pine cone a dusting of white paint.
Step 2
When the paint is dry, wrap thin floral wire inside the tynes of each pine cone. Twist the ends of the floral wire together to form a loop and trim with scissors.
Step 3
Thread hemp string through the loop you have just made with the floral wire. String each pine cone onto your garand.
Step 4
Add a little hot glue to each colorful felt ball and stick them onto the pine cones.
Viola… the cutest sugarplum garland for your festive holiday decorating.
