I have exciting news today… I’m happy to announce that I am bringing back the Discovering Waldorf Education series. So many of you have requested its return as it gave us all such a beautiful, every-day, insight into the Waldorf way.

The Discovering Waldorf series is a compilation of articles about the Waldorf way of life, written by Waldorf teachers as well as moms and dads who are living the Waldorf way, guiding their children and families towards an inner peace that comes from a Waldorf inspired lifestyle.

Please have a look at the huge collection of wonderful articles in the archives of the Discovering Waldorf Education series.

Kelly, from Happy Whimsical Hearts, is our guest on Discovering Waldorf Education today.

Home is more than a place. Home is a feeling.

A feeling of belonging, a feeling of warmth and contentment. It is a sanctuary.

And creating a home comes from pouring our intentions into our home.

Into my home I have poured love, beauty and contentment. In doing so, I have created a home that holds and supports us.

I think about the things that bring us joy… It is flowers on the table. It is soft warm lighting. It is the scent of baking bread.

Even as I think about my home, I feel it. It is a warm and loving embrace.

I love a home made of many spaces. Nooks if you will.

Nooks for snacking nearby as mum works in the kitchen. Nooks for snuggling down with a good book. Nooks in which to create with pencils and paint.

And the other day, as my husband walked into our home he said it smelt like our Waldorf kindergarten. That magical scent of nourishment. And at his words my heart filled with gladness.

Blessings, Kelly
